Humidity

I'm destined for the desert, so keep my environment dry and mist free to keep me happy.

I can handle a little shade that's thrown my way, but I prefer to be in bright, indirect sunlight.

Watering

Top tip

Once you find the perfect spot for your Snake Plant, you can almost forget about it. Water every so often and tidy up, and dead leaves and it will be happy.

About Lil' Snake Plant

The baby Snake Plant is the perfect Prickle pal. This low-maintenance houseplant can practically be forgotten once you find the best spot for it.

The Sansevieria Green Hahnii comes from West Africa, so give it a warm, dry spot reminiscent of its home (15-23°C, min 10°C). Your bedroom or living room make ideal spots for your Sansevieria houseplant, they love a home with low humidity.

Pop it in a space with bright, indirect sunlight, and your Snake Plant will be happy as larry. It only needs the occasional water when its soil is dry. If its tips begin to brown a little, give it a mist and it should perk right back up again. Tidy away any dead leaves and don't worry if your Snake Plant has a few scars, this is normal and they give it character! Like many real-life snakes, the Snake Plant is poisonous, so be sure to keep children and pets away.

At Prickle, we are always here to hear you! Send us your Sansevieria Green Hahnii baby plant questions @prickleplantsuk.
