About Lil' Pink Dragon

The Alocasia Baginda is known as the Pink Dragon plant because of its striking foliage. This baby Dragon plant is fast-growing, reaching heights up to 2m.

Your miniature Dragon Plant is a Southeast Asia native, so it likes it humid. The perfect spot is in your bathroom or kitchen, but if you want to keep it in your living room, no problem. Just give your Pink Dragon a daily mist, or its leaves may brown at the tips.

Although the name might suggest it, the Pink Dragon is actually easy to care for. They prefer a sunny spot with bright, indirect sunlight and temperatures between 16-27°C, although they can handle as low as 12°C.

Your Pink Dragon likes a regular watering schedule, watch out for overwatering it as its leaves may drop or turn yellow. If your Alocasia Baginda has any dead or dying leaves, feel free to remove these to help encourage new growth.

While your Pink Dragon may be small, this doesn't mean it is harmless, little plant is not pet and child friendly as it is toxic to them.

At Prickle, we are always here to hear you! Send us your Pink Dragon baby plant questions @prickleplantsuk.
